I can dig this, on a few levels.

You know, as much as I really enjoy playing the game, I really wish NPCs would stop telling my female Khajiit that she is going to have to work hard to be a good warrior and be taken seriously, and that the guards would stop treating me like a petty thief. Even more than that, I wish that the writers of the plot of the game would look at wtf they did because if it was unintentional, then. Welp.
Here’s praying Elder Scrolls VI takes place in Hammerfell (again), Morrowind (again), Valenwood, Elseweyr, or Blackmarsh so I can play a “minority” character and not feel constantly discriminated against. (Hell, it wasn’t even a problem in Oblivion, really.)
Isnt that the point though? I mean I’ve always played Khajiit so I’d feel weird if I wasn’t discriminated against in the land of the Nords.
Yeah but if you read the link, it’s not just about the actual act of discrimination. It’s that Khajiit, as characters, are treated in a racist way by the writers. :/ I mean I’m cool with characters being discriminated against as a note that things aren’t all happy and great in Skyrim because honestly there are loads of issues beyond the war and dragons, but man couldn’t the writers not use really bad stereotypes to show that there are groups that are marginalized?
IE I don’t usually play a thief Khajiit and I don’t like that basically the only Khajiiti in game are “gypsies” or bandits. Why not more scholars and trainers like there were in Cyrodiil?
(For the record, I’m not a huge fan of Redguards having “different blood” than the rest of the human races, too.)

lol funny that two opposite opinions are posted within a day of each other.
What I like about Jane is that she’s really spunky and has a lot of personality even though we haven’t seen too too much of her. Roxy does too but Jane is… tough?! I don’t know that’s the wrong word, but I like that she gets annoyed easily and is likes playing pretend and that she’s actually a character that isn’t like any of the other kids.
Roxy is a bit of that way too, but something about her doesn’t ring as true to me as it does with Jane. Maybe I just like Jane because I’m excited that she’s going to be the friendleader and that she is a hero of Life and all the implications that brings.
Dirk is… everything that everybody expected him to be and not really anything new and exciting. Most of his jokes are the same jokes that Dave and Rose and even Equius had before, so. Yeah. DIrk isn’t very interesting to me which is sad because I thought I would like him.
And Jake honestly has had about 0 character development so far so I really don’t know what to say about him but I honestly don’t get people saying they like Jake English because he’s Jake English. That’s like saying you like Jake English because he’s genderswapped old-man Jade, because that’s basically all he is.
